Best Island Tiki Cruise — Put-in-Bay Floating Tiki

A six-passenger tiki boat brings laid-back cruises, island views and vacation vibes to Lake Erie.

While earning her captain’s license in the Florida Keys, Miranda Krueger noticed there was one thing missing in the Lake Erie Islands: A tiki cruise.

People needed something to get out on the water leisurely,” she says.

In 2021, she started her own tiki boat tour, and it remains popular today. “I have a lot of repeat customers,” she says. “I think that’s the best compliment to my business that people come back every year.”

Her boat seats six people and offers hourlong daylight and sunset cruises (daylight cruises can be bought individually, but the sunset cruises are sold as a charter). She’ll run two daytime cruises during the week and four or five on the weekends.

“People say it’s their favorite part of coming to the island,” she says. “It makes them feel like they’re on vacation.”
